Ⅲ. Learning Period and Training Method

Full-time Doctoral students generally study for three years, while on-the-job Doctoral students for six years. If full-time Doctoral students wish to apply for early graduation, then they should refer to the ‘Jiangsu University on Several Opinions of Cultivating Postgraduate Education Program’.

Graduate course study implements credit system, divided into degree courses and non-degree courses. Doctoral students of this discipline are required to complete 16 credits, including 10 credits on degree courses at least, and 9 credits on practical courses are also required.

Specialized elective courses can be chosen among other universities which open related courses on this discipline. In principle, these universities should rank higher than us or close to us, or its QS international ranking is top 200. You should go to our school and graduate school for the record before choosing these courses.

Other information can be found in the Jiangsu University on Several Opinions of Cultivating Postgraduate Education Program. Among them, there is no suspended requirement for comprehensive examination of Doctoral international students.
